Sue Jenkins is Senior Lecturer and Programme Director of 4, interprofessional MSc programmes, in the Centre for Medical Education, School of Medicine, Cardiff University, Wales in the UK. Her clinical background is critical care, clinical research and pain management. She has been working in postgraduate education for 22 years, developing and delivering interprofessional learning, via distance learning. Sue was part of a team that changed the 4 MSc programmes to e-learning in 2009. She is a member of the British Pain Society’s Pain Education Committe and their Pain Education Special Interest Group. Sue also runs a module on the Intercalated BSc in Medical Education for medical students, introducing them to some of the concepts of the medical humanities and how that can be used in medical education – with an overall aim to developing person centred education and care.
